Acting Prime Minister and Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister, Viliame Gavoka today officiated at the Caregiver Services Professional Institute Graduation Ceremony in Lautoka.
The Acting Prime Minister acknowledged the graduates for their accomplishment that was made possible through commitment with many sacrifices.
He also commended the institute for being able to register and being recognised by the Ministry of Education and has attained full recognition by the Fiji Higher Education Commission after satisfactorily meeting all the necessary requirements.
“Over the years, the demand for Caregivers has increased rapidly in Fiji and abroad in the employment sector and this job has encouraged others like you to go through formal training in this sector today,” said Gavoka
A total of 42 students graduated today.
