Tailevu Naitasiri football team has been relegated to the senior division.

The side finished at the bottom of the Premier League standings, after going down 2-1 to Lautoka in their final game of the season.

Tailevu Naitasiri finished the season with 12 points and will now be replaced by Tavua, who beat Bua in the second leg playoff to gain promotion to the Premier division.

Meanwhile, Nasinu will remain in the top flight after a 3-1 win over Nadroga, which saw them finish in ninth place with 15 points on the DPL Ladder.

Rewa won this year’s Premier League title, for finishing in first place and will also represent Fiji in the OFC Champions League playoff next year.

Labasa finished second while Lautoka was placed third.
