The Flick Hygiene Pacific Community Cup concluded last weekend at Churchill Park in Lautoka. The tournament brought together football fans and players from across Fiji and delivered thrilling matches and showcased exceptional football talent.
Tournament champions NZFFI Auckland All-Stars made a profound impact beyond the field by visiting the Nadi Center for Special Education. Their gesture of goodwill included distributing soccer balls to students and pledging $1,500 toward the 2025 Back to School Stationery initiative.
America Fiji Sports Commission Chairman Narend Narayan continued his tradition of philanthropy with a generous $5,000 donation to WOWS Kids.
WOWS Kids is an organisation supporting children battling cancer.
Narayan, known for his longstanding dedication to the cause, expressed his commitment to improving the lives of children in need.
Fiji FA President Rajesh Patel expressed his heartfelt gratitude to both teams for their generosity.
He says “their support extends beyond football, touching the lives of those in need and showcasing the true spirit of this tournament,”
Patel also announced Fiji FA’s continued support for WOW Kids through proceeds from ticket sales.
“A dollar from every ticket sold over the four days of the tournament will go to WOW Kids.
Fiji FA has already contributed more than $60,000 as part of its social responsibility and we remain committed to making a difference,” Patel added.
