In Fiji:
Fiji has been announced as the host for the 2026 Miss Pacific Islands Pageant.
The decision was revealed at the close of the 2025 pageant in Honiara last night.
Fiji did not participate in the 2025 competition, including the past few years.
Meanwhile, Samoa’s Litara Ieremia Alan was crowned Miss Pacific Islands 2025, marking Samoa’s second consecutive win.
The 24-year-old beat seven other contestants from American Sāmoa, the Cook Islands, Kiribati, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, and Tonga to take home the title.
