Former teacher and self-proclaimed Facebook publisher, Kishore Kumar has been sent for Psychiatric evaluation at the St Giles Hospital for three days. 

Kumar appeared before Chief Magistrate Josaia Waqaivolavola  in the Suva Magistrates Court this morning. 

Kumar is facing  six counts of indecently annoying a person and one count of criminal intimidation.

It is alleged that he circulated explicit videos allegedly of Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs, Lenora Qereqeretabua in 2020.

Chief Magistrate Waqaivolavola informed the court that Kumar will be under the care of the Medical Superintendent  at the St Giles Hospital.

Kumar will be remanded after the evaluation. 

The matter will be called against on the 12th of this month. 

The trial will continue on the 20th on May this year.
