Around 45 farmers from Bua Province participated in a two-day training session held on 15-16 January at the Naulumatua Conference Room in Nabouwalu.
Organised by the Agriculture and Waterways’ Ministry’s Land Resources and Planning Division, the training focused on building farmers’ entrepreneurial and farm management skills.
Participants learned about sustainable land management, the importance of soil testing and best practices for cultivating quality vegetables and fruit trees.
The training involved representatives from the Tikina of Wainunu, Nadi, Vuya and Solevu.
