Two people have suffered burns injuries and two dogs have died in a Brisbane house fire.
The fire broke out at the house on the corner of Rochedale Rd and Netherby St in Rochedale South at about 9am on Tuesday.
The 33-year-old man and 29-year-old woman were initially reported by Queensland Ambulance Service as having “life-threatening injuries”.
They were treated for smoke inhalation and superficial burns before declining to be taken to hospital.
Four other people at the home when the fire broke out are not injured.
However, two dogs “died as a result of the fire”, police said.
A crime scene has been declared as officials investigate the cause of the blaze.
Four fire crews attended the scene to find the single-storey house “well involved” with flames, a Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman told 7NEWS.com.au.
Firefighters had the blaze under control about 10am.
Police closed Rochedale Rd and Priestdale Rd amid the emergency response.
