A young and aspiring entrepreneur, Abdul Shafraz from Vuda, Lautoka, is making waves in the local jewelry-making industry through the assistance received from the Youth and Sports Ministry.
In July of this year, the Ministry provided Shafraz with essential materials and equipment to help boost his burgeoning business.
Prior to receiving support from the Ministry, Shafraz had taken out a loan from the Fiji Development Bank to kickstart his business and intervention from the Ministry has helped him successfully repay the loan.
To further expand his reach, Mr Shafraz has embraced online sales through his Facebook page, “Jewelry Heaven Fiji enabling him to connect with customers nationwide.
One of the goals of the Youth and Sports Ministry is to empower aspiring entrepreneurs.
