Fijian Drua CEO Mark Evans said: “Fiji is set to make history by hosting seven Super Rugby Pacific matches in a single season. Despite the increase in VAT, we have kept the ticket prices the same as last season.
This means fans won’t be burdened by an additional amount, which we will absorb. Additionally, fans will no longer have to pay for ticket servicing fees, which will also be absorbed. We have the world’s best fans and we want to do everything we can to get them to our matches.”
Evans added: “We seek sold-out stadiums because of the effect it has on the team. The players love playing in front of our passionate fans. The noise they make and the atmosphere they create is outstanding.
So the more fans there are at the stadium the better it is for us as a team and as a business. We are working hard with all our partners to enhance the fan experience on matchday at the grounds, with unmatched entertainment and food and beverage options offerings for them to enjoy.”
