In Fiji:
A 30-year-old man has died following a road accident in Martintar, Nadi, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The incident occurred along Queens Road shortly after 1am.
Police allege the man suddenly crossed the road and was struck by a vehicle being driven by a 32-year-old man.
He was taken to Nadi Hospital for medical attention but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Police investigations into the circumstances surrounding the accident are continuing.
