Western champions, Lautoka, hold onto the Vanua Cup Challenge after a hard fought battle against Ba. The two teams will feature in the 2024 Skipper Cup Competition.
It was a competitive first half as the brigade from the Sugar City led at the midway mark of the game by 12-9.
Despite Lautoka’s fullback, Sunia Talebula receiving a yellow card for a late tackle, the Ba defense could not contain the attack from the eventual winners who finished the challenge on top with the score board reading 29-19 to Maroons at fulltime.
