The Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools South Eastern Zone Rugby League competition has created history by including Bua College into their competition.
Since its inception in 2007, the sport has taken a giant leap from four schools in the competition to now more than 80 schools participating, in the highly competitive rugby league contest.
The Vodafone Secondary Schools Rugby League tournaments have produced numerous stars, including Viliame Kikau, Suliasi Vunivalu, and Tui Kamikamica.
South Eastern zone President Aisake Tuapati is optimistic they will discover more budding talents this year.
Bua College has been creating some major upsets in the past two weeks of competition.
The growing number of participating schools is testament to the postive impact the sport has on secondary school students.
Round 3 of the Vodafone Fiji South Eastern Secondary School rugby league competition will be held on Saturday 9 March at St Marcellin Primary school grounds in Suva.
