Members of the public are advised that there is currently a restriction of movement at the Rewa Bridge in Nausori as floodwaters have continued to rise in the past hour as a result of the heavy rain
Police are presently on site to ensure there is restricted movement on both ends of the bridge.
The NDMO wishes to remind the general public and all motorists that this measure has been taken to ensure the safety of commuters travelling in and out of Nausori.
Together with the Fiji Police Force and the Fiji Roads Authority (FRA), we will continue to monitor the situation and update the public accordingly.
