The Women, Children and Social Protection Ministry has released a statement informing all Social Welfare recipients that all Social Welfare allowance payments for the month of August are delayed due to the transition to Government’s new financial year.
The Ministry apologises to all recipients for any inconvenience caused and request patience and understanding whilst they work diligently to clear all outstanding payments within this week.
All effort is being made to expedite the process and ensure that all recipients receive their allowances by close of business tomorrow, Tuesday, 6 August.
From September, all future monthly payments will resume as per the normal schedule.
