The Fiji Schoolboys Under-18 team’s victory over the Australian side will go into the history books of Fiji Rugby.
The Vodafone Fiji Schoolboys under-18 team made history by defeating the Australian Schoolboys 26-14.
This marked the first time a Fiji under-18 side has triumphed over its Australian counterparts.
Team captain Anare Tabakaucoro said their hard work and preparation had paid off.
Australian captain Edward Baxter acknowledged the challenges posed by a short turnaround, as his team arrived just the evening before the match.
The Fiji side showcased their strength by scoring four tries to the Australians’ two, securing a memorable win.
The next match is set for Tuesday at 6 PM at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka,
