The General Secretary of the People’s Alliance Party, Sila Balawa has stated that internal processes are underway to determine the fate of party member and Member of Parliament Lynda Tabuya, who was dismissed from the cabinet last week following the leak of an explicit video of her online.
The Party’s Executive Committee met for over two hours to discuss the issue and decide on the next steps.
The disciplinary committee has been tasked with conducting a thorough investigation within 21 days and reporting to party management.
Tabuya will be allowed to present her case to the committee.
The committee, which includes six members, is conducting the process independently while protecting its integrity and privacy.
