Fiji is set to take on a leadership role in shaping the region’s future by co-hosting the Pacific Regional Quality Policy workshop this May. The event, happening from May 18 to 23, 2025, at the Tanoa International Hotel in Nadi, will bring together leaders, experts, and policymakers from across the Pacific to focus on something that impacts us all — quality standards that improve trade, safety, and everyday life.
The training and workshop are part of a collaboration between the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat, the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO), and the Fijian Government. The goal is to build a stronger, more unified regional quality policy — essentially, a roadmap that helps Pacific Island nations lift standards across industries.
Whether it’s ensuring better product safety, improving exports, or raising the bar on public services, this workshop will lay the groundwork for future progress that touches everyone — from farmers and small business owners to consumers and government agencies.
As hosts, Fiji continues to show leadership in advancing regional cooperation and sustainable development goals.
