Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka delivered a strong message of unity, faith, and leadership as he officiated the 2025 Bose Vakayabaki of the Suva Methodist Church Division yesterday.

Speaking in the iTaukei language, PM Rabuka emphasized the church’s pivotal role in shaping a resilient and morally grounded Fiji.

He called on Fijians to live with discipline, serve with faith, and respect one another in all walks of life.

Addressing societal challenges, the Prime Minister raised concerns over the rise in domestic violence and drug abuse, urging the church to continue its leadership in advocating for the protection of women, girls, and the elderly.

Rabuka also highlighted the need for greater cooperation between the church and relevant institutions in supporting youth development and national wellbeing.

Concluding his address, the Prime Minister reminded all leaders whether in government, the military, or the community to live as role models, embodying the values of the Bose Vakayabaki in their daily lives.
