The group stage matches of the 2025 BIC Fiji FACT weren’t just about top-tier football action—young talents also took center stage, thanks to the McDonald’s Halftime Talent Display Program at Suva’s HFC Bank Stadium.
The initiative, driven by the Fiji Football Association’s technical department and backed by McDonald’s Fiji, featured aspiring footballers aged 9 to 15 showcasing their skills during halftime intervals of key tournament matches.
Designed to complement Fiji FA’s grassroots development efforts, the program is part of a larger strategy that includes the McDonald’s Talent Development League and the Talent Development Inter-District Championship (IDC).
These halftime displays offered a unique blend of entertainment and promise for the future of Fijian football, giving fans a glimpse of the next generation of stars.
