As Fiji marks Father’s Day, Prime Minister Sitiveni is reminding fathers that their greatest responsibility extends beyond providing for their families it is about shaping the values and future of the next generation.

In his Father’s Day message, the Prime Minister described fatherhood as both an honour and a responsibility, calling on fathers to protect, provide, guide and, most importantly, lead by example.

He highlighted that the values demonstrated in homes today will be reflected in the Fiji that children build tomorrow.

Rabuka also acknowledged that fathers would make mistakes but says one of the greatest lessons they can give their children is showing them how to acknowledge their mistakes, make amends and get back up again.

He extended his Father’s Day wishes to every father, grandfather, stepfather, guardian and father figure across Fiji.
