The Qelemumu Crossing along Coqeloa Road in Labasa will be temporarily closed to traffic to allow essential maintenance works to be carried out.
The Fiji Roads Authority says the closure will begin from 8am to 5pm daily from Friday, September 4, until Sunday, September 13, weather permitting.
The crossing will remain inaccessible during working hours to ensure the safety of construction crews and allow machinery to operate at the site.
Motorists are advised to use the designated detour routes and follow temporary traffic signs and instructions from traffic controllers.
The Fiji Roads Authority has thanked motorists and the public for their patience and cooperation while the maintenance work is underway.
