The investigation into the death of Police Constable Peniasi Racagi remains under independent legal review by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Police say the investigation file is still with the ODPP for assessment.
This follows the receipt of forensic test results that had been sent to New Zealand for analysis.
Police had earlier confirmed that the results were received and subsequently forwarded to the ODPP as part of the investigation file.
No further details on the findings of the forensic tests have been released.
Police say further comments will be made once the investigation file is returned by the ODPP.
