Four men are in police custody following an alleged aggravated robbery involving a taxi driver on Sukanaivalu Road.

The arrests followed operations by the Southern Division Task Force, with police first taking a man in his 20s into custody in the Sukanaivalu Road area this morning.

A further raid carried out this afternoon resulted in the arrest of three more men, aged 27, 23 and 21.

The three suspects have been taken to Nabua Police Station, where they are currently being questioned.

Police allege the four men hired a taxi from Narere to Nabua. Upon reaching their destination, they allegedly stole the driver’s watch and cash.

The suspects remain in custody as police continue investigations into the alleged incident.
