The Crest Fiji Pearls are set to begin their campaign at the Netball World Cup 2027 Oceania Regional Qualifiers in Tonga, with a 12-member squad named to represent Fiji.

The Pearls will open their campaign against the Cook Islands tomorrow at 4pm, before facing Samoa on September 16, hosts Tonga on September 17 and Papua New Guinea on September 18.

Led by head coach Michelle Parsons, with Bernadette Daurewa as assistant coach, the squad will be aiming to finish among the top teams and secure Fiji’s place at the 2027 Netball World Cup in Sydney, Australia.

Matila Vocea will co-captain the side, with Elenoa Gukirewa named as the other co-captain, as the Pearls look to make the most of the four-day qualifier.

The 12-player squad features a mix of experienced campaigners and emerging talent across the shooting, mid-court and defensive departments.

With a place at the Netball World Cup on the line, the Pearls will need to produce consistent performances across all four matches as they battle the region’s best for qualification.
