Former Fiji Sevens captain Setefano Cakau has been appointed Head Coach of South Darwin Rugby Union Club, marking another chapter in his long association with the Australian-based club.
South Darwin announced that Cakau will lead the Rabbitohs into the upcoming season, with support from Sunia Radravu and Evan Needham as part of the coaching team.
The club praised Cakau’s deep connection to South Darwin, describing him as a figure who has contributed as a player, leader, mentor and coach over many years.
According to the club, Cakau’s understanding of the team’s culture and commitment to developing players made him the ideal choice to guide the Rabbitohs forward.
Needham, a South Darwin Life Member who has been involved with the club since 2003, will bring further experience to the coaching group as they look to build on the club’s proud history
