Three men accused of robbing a taxi driver along Sukanaivalu Road in Nabua are due back in the Suva Magistrates Court today for their bail application.
The three are alleged to have hired the taxi from Narere to Nabua on Sunday, September 13.
Police allege that after reaching their destination, the men stole the taxi driver’s watch and cash.
They were arrested shortly after the alleged incident by the Southern Division Task Force.
The three have been jointly charged with one count each of aggravated robbery and serious assault.
They appeared in the Suva Magistrates Court yesterday and were remanded until today for their bail application.
