Dayal’s Steel Ba FC have been crowned the 2026 Extra Battle of the Giants champions, ending an eight-year wait since their last BOG title in 2018.

Head coach Ravinesh Kumar says the players showed a strong winning mentality in the final, with lessons from their earlier defeat to Rewa during their second game, helping them respond when it mattered most.

“Actually, you could see, you see the attitude of the players. They had a positive mentality, a winning mentality today when they came to play Rewa, and I believe the game against Rewa gave us a learning point from the second day, and we picked up from there, and we came into the finals with that winning mentality, and the credit goes to the players.”

The victory gives Ba its 18th BOG title, adding another chapter to the Men in Black’s proud history and sparking celebrations in the football-mad town.

“Actually, Ba is, it’s nothing new for Ba to make titles and do the records. We are Ba. And we are stronger together.”
