Weather conditions across Fiji are expected to improve as the rain-bearing cloud bands that affected the country earlier this week have moved away from the group.
Satellite observations show the main area of cloud and rainfall has shifted eastward, allowing generally fine weather to return across most parts of the country. However, brief and isolated showers may still occur from time to time.
These showers are linked to a low-pressure system that also contributed to stronger winds experienced in parts of the Western Division on Monday night.
The system is now moving away from Fiji, reducing the likelihood of further significant weather impacts.
Forecasters say southerly winds are expected to strengthen in the coming days, bringing cooler temperatures across the country.
As Fiji moves further into its cooler season, residents are being encouraged to keep warm and take extra care during the colder mornings and evenings.
