The Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) has officially launched the Coral Sustainer 2025 Military Instructors Course at the Logistic Support Unit (LSU) Tender Board Room in Queen Elizabeth Barracks, Nabua.

This training initiative is designed to enhance the instructional capabilities of RFMF logistics non-commissioned officers (NCOs).

The opening address was delivered by Lieutenant Rebecca Rasmussen of the Australian Defence Force (ADF), Army’s 7th Combat Service Support Battalion.

Lt Rasmussen, who is leading the course facilitation team from the ADF, highlighted the strong commitment between the ADF and RFMF to foster professionalism, instructional excellence, and regional cooperation.

The Coral Sustainer course is specifically aimed at developing the necessary skills for RFMF NCOs to conduct structured and effective military training.

It aligns with the strategic objectives of the Commander RFMF (CRFMF) and the Commander Land Forces (CLF) to build a more self-reliant, capable, and professional force.

This training also contributes to the ongoing effort to formalize and document logistics training, enhancing institutional knowledge and operational effectiveness in the long term.

Furthermore, the course promotes regional partnerships and interoperability, strengthening mutual understanding between the RFMF and ADF.

The event was attended by LSU Second-in-Command, Major Tupou Colati, ADF course instructors, and participants from the RFMF Logistic Support Unit and Engineers Regiment.
