Datec (Fiji) Pte Limited has received regional recognition for its contribution to the technology sector, winning the One Lenovo Partner of the Year 2026 award at the Lenovo 360 Evolve ’26 Awards in Sydney, Australia.
Adding to the achievement, Datec Chief Operating Officer Veer Sharma received the prestigious Lenovo Legend Award, recognising his individual contribution to the partnership.
Datec was also named a finalist in two additional categories: IDG SMB Partner of the Year and ISG Partner of the Year. The three nominations reflect the company’s work across business technology and IT infrastructure solutions.
The awards mark another milestone for the Fijian company, which has spent more than 40 years supporting the country’s information and communications technology (ICT) industry through technology solutions, customer partnerships and digital development.
Competing alongside partners from Australia, New Zealand and across the Pacific, Datec’s success highlights the growing regional profile of Fiji’s technology sector and the role local businesses can play in the wider digital economy.
Beyond the awards, Datec says its approach centres on helping organisations identify and implement technology that meets their needs and long-term goals. Its services extend from planning and implementation to integration, ongoing support and future digital transformation.
Datec Fiji Chief Executive Officer Vinit Nand said the recognition reflected the confidence customers had placed in the company and its ongoing responsibility to support Fiji’s development through technology.
He said Datec’s focus was not simply on selling products, but on understanding customers’ current needs and future ambitions while supporting them throughout their technology journey.
Nand added that as technology continues to evolve rapidly, the company aims to help organisations adapt to change with confidence.
The recognition reinforces Datec’s longstanding commitment to combining local expertise with international partnerships to deliver technology solutions for businesses in Fiji and across the region.
