Ba Football Association president Praneel Dayal has praised the hard work, planning and support of fans after Ba secured four major titles, capping off a successful year for the district.
Dayal described the achievement as a proud moment for the association, saying the team had worked hard to restore Ba’s position among Fiji’s leading football districts.
The latest triumph for the Men in Black came at the 2026 FMF Inter-District Championship after defeating Navua 2-0, adding to the other major titles won by the district this year.
“There is no secret. It is always hard work,” Dayal said.
He said he had promised Ba supporters last year that he would deliver success in 2026, adding that he was pleased to have fulfilled that commitment.
Dayal also thanked fans who turned out in large numbers to support the team, including those who travelled from Ba and other parts of the country to watch the matches.
He said the supporters’ belief in the team and its administration had been important in Ba’s return to success.
“Ba is back where it is supposed to be,” Dayal said.
With the IDC title secured, Ba will now turn its attention to the Pacific Cup, scheduled for November 26 to 30.
Dayal said the association would maintain the same level of preparation and commitment as it targets another title.
