In Fiji:
The Magistrates Court has ruled that the disputed document containing details of the alleged directorships can be admitted as evidence in the case against Professor Biman Prasad.
The document contains the names of three directors of Platinum Hotels and Resorts, including Professor Prasad.
Magistrate Yogesh Prasad ruled that the document carries sufficient weight in terms of reliability and should therefore be admitted as evidence in the proceedings.
The trial is expected to resume this afternoon.
