Deputy Prime Minister and Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister, Viliame Gavoka, encourages members of the Fiji Institute of Chartered Accountants to explore tourism’s potential for sustainable development, innovation, fiscal integrity and societal responsibility.
Speaking at the Fiji Institute of Chartered Accountants Annual Congress 2024 at the Shangri la Resort, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasised the role of Fiji Institute of Chartered Accountants participants in shaping Fiji’s economic future through tourism.
He stressed the importance of fiscal responsibility in supporting programmes for long-term growth and prosperity and highlighted the need to extend tourism benefits to all regions of Fiji.
