Drua names trial match lineup against Western Force

Swire Shipping Fijian Drua Head Coach Mick Byrne has announced his lineup for the Club’s second and final trial game, before the 2023 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific competition kicks off next week.

26 players are expected to get a run in tomorrow’s trial against the Western Force. The match will be played at Western Districts RFC Park in Toowong, Queensland at 9pm Fiji time (7pm in QLD). Drua hooker Tevita Ikanivere will stand-in as captain for the trial.

Fans will get chance to see Te Ahiwaru Cirikidaveta, Samu Tawake, Kaliopasi Uluilakepa, in action for the first time this season, after the trio missed the Drua’s first trial match against the Melbourne Rebels in Nadi.

The Western Force – Swire Shipping Fijian Drua trial match will be shown live on Stan Sports in Australia and Sky Pacific in Fiji.
