SportsWorld Fiji Under-20 Fullback, Savenaca Durusolo, is living out his dream of donning the white jersey and representing his country.
The journey began with the support and sacrifices of his late father, and has come to fruition with him now preparing for the upcoming International Series in Cape Town, South Africa.
Savenaca played a pivotal role in Kadavu Rugby’s Skipper Cup qualification last year, and he attributes his achievements to his late father, his greatest motivator.
Known for his kicking skills and speed, Durusolo previously made headlines by breaking into the Fijian Warriors side from grassroots rugby.
Despite the challenge of fighting for a spot in the squad, Durusolo finds strength in the teaching from his father, motivating him to persevere and excel.
As their preparations are near completion, their focus now shifts to the international stage, and the team will depart this Thursday.
