In a recent visit to Balata College, Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro engaged with staff from both the primary and secondary schools, emphasizing the importance of unity, professionalism, and quality education during a talanoa session.
Speaking to teachers and school management, Minister Radrodro reinforced the Ministry’s commitment to ensuring inclusive and high-quality education for all Fijians an effort that aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4).
Radrodro encouraged educators to think beyond their individual classrooms and schools, calling for greater collaboration across school clusters and districts to share resources and strengthen teaching practices.
“When we work together, we lift each other up—and ultimately, we lift our students,” he said.
He also reminded teachers that their profession is more than a job—it’s a calling. With that, he urged them to continue serving with integrity, compassion, and dedication to their students’ growth.
Maintaining high standards of professional conduct, he noted, is essential to shaping the future of education in Fiji.
