Minister for Employment, Productivity and Workplace Relations Agni Deo Singh has died in Brisbane.
The Office of the Prime Minister has confirmed that Singh passed away today.
Prime Minister and Chair of the Coalition Cabinet Sitiveni Rabuka expressed his deepest condolences to the late Minister’s family, loved ones, colleagues and friends.
In a statement, the Prime Minister acknowledged Singh’s dedicated service to Fiji’s workers and his contribution to the government and the nation.
Singh served as Minister for Employment, Productivity and Workplace Relations and was responsible for key areas affecting workers, employment relations and workplace policies.
Members of the public and media have also been asked to respect the privacy of Singh’s family as they mourn his passing.
