The Fijian Drua have announced Encore as the latest partner to be featured on the Fijian Drua Women’s playing kit, in a move seen as a significant boost for the continued development of women’s rugby in Fiji.
Under the new agreement, Encore will appear on the side panels of the McDonald’s Fiji Drua Women’s jersey as the team prepares for its push in Super Rugby W 2026, aiming to replicate its championship success.
The multi-year partnership builds on an existing relationship, with Encore already serving as the club’s event technology partner for both the men’s and women’s programmes.
The expanded deal broadens collaboration beyond matchdays, extending into community engagement and wider sporting initiatives.
Fijian Drua General Manager Commercial, Shane Hussein, said the partnership reflects shared values and a commitment to long-term development of the women’s game.
He noted that Encore’s support strengthens both visibility and matchday experiences for fans, while also joining a growing group of sponsors backing women’s sport in Fiji.
Encore General Manager for New Zealand, Asia and the Pacific, Tim Keeling, said the partnership was a natural progression, highlighting Fiji’s importance as a key market and the Drua’s strong international presence.
