A 35-year-old former accounts officer has been charged over the alleged theft of more than $90,000 from her employer.
The Criminal Investigation Department’s Major Fraud Unit alleges the woman dishonestly appropriated the money without lawful authority over a five-year period between 2018 and 2023.
She has been charged with one count of theft and is scheduled to appear before the Suva Magistrates Court today.
