The Vodafone Fiji Bati team dropped one place in the International Rugby League World Rankings.
The Fiji Bati have traded position with Papua New Guinea who has climbed from seventh to six place after winning the Pacific Bowl Championship two years in a row.
Fiji Bati is now ranked seventh and is above countries like France, Cook Islands, Serbia, Netherlands, and Wales.
Australia remains first in the men’s rankings following their Pacific Cup victories.
Meanwhile, Fiji Bulikula has made a significant stride moving up ten places on the rankings after winning the Pacific berth at the 2025 World Series.
The Bulikula are also being rewarded for playing more regularly.
Their two matches in this year’s World Cup qualifying tournament doubled the number of international fixtures they have played since 1998.
As a result of their win against the Cook Islands and gripping 16-12 loss to Samoa, Fiji has moved from 26th to 16th place.
