The Fiji Pearls suffered their fourth loss at the Netball World Cup in Cape Town.
This time Unaisi Rokoura’s coached side went down to England 89-28, featuring stage 2 of the tournament.
England took a commanding lead in the first quarter leading 26-8 and increased their lead to 50-15 going into the halftime break as they were dominant in attack and cohesive through the court.
The Roses further increased their lead to 69-23 in the third quarter and maintained its dominance in the fourth quarter with the final result being 89-28.
Fiji Pearls have only managed one win in the tournament so far beating Zimbabwe 52-48 and losing to Tonga 56-51, against Australia by 101 – 32, and in stage 2 going down to Malawi by 62-48.
Fiji Pearl’s next match is against Scotland.
