Fans seeking Bronze and Silver match tickets for the blockbuster Super Rugby Pacific match between the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua & the Highlanders can now also purchase them from today at eight Jack’s of Fiji outlets around the country.

The eight outlets are in Suva, Nakasi, Sigatoka, Nadi, Lautoka and Ba. Just 16 days remain until Fiji’s very own Drua play on home soil for the very first time against a strong Highlanders squad featuring several current and prospective All Blacks. Most notable among them is Aaron Smith, widely considered to be the world’s best halfback.

Fijian Drua CEO Brian Thorburn said: “We’re now making more avenues available for purchase tickets in major population centres on Viti Levu via Jack’s of Fiji to complement our existing ticket outlets Post Fiji and the Fiji Sports Council Suva Office. The Jack’s of Fiji outlets are conveniently located in malls, towns and cities, which makes it easier for fans to access Bronze and Silver tickets so they can watch their favourite players like Meli Derenalagi, Vinaya Habosi, Teti Tela and Peni Matawalu as well as other Drua stars in action.”

The eight Jack’s of Fiji outlets are in Pier Street Suva, Damodar City Suva, MHCC Suva, Rups Mall Nakasi, as well as Jack’s flagship stores in Sigatoka, Nadi, Lautoka and Ba.

Meanwhile, the ‘Drua Experience’ Corporate Hospitality event for the match has been further boosted with the addition of two more high profile speakers. The Fijian Drua have confirmed that that Fiji Airways Fijian 7s Head Coach Ben Gollings and World Rugby 7s Player of the Decade Jerry Tuwai will address and meet attendees before kick-off. Interest in the Drua Experience has been steadily increasing, with only 350 of the 750 spots at the event remaining available for purchase.

Thorburn said: “It is extremely exciting for us to add another two high profile speakers to the Drua Experience. Ben Gollings and our hero Jerry Tuwai join Flying Fijians Head Coach Vern Cotter and 7s Legend Waisale Serevi to address the event attendees. Gollings and Tuwai will speak about the recent outstanding win at the Singapore 7s and preparations for the Commonwealth Games and the 7s World Cup later this year. Vern Cotter will speak about the upcoming Flying Fijians July and Northern Test windows as well as plans for the 2023 Rugby World Cup, while the wizard Waisale Serevi will share his thoughts on the Fijian Drua and Fijian 7s seasons. Of course, all of them will also meet and greet our event attendees, which adds to the special nature of the event.”

The Drua Experience Corporate Hospitality programme features an exclusive pre and post event experience. Guests will enjoy food and drinks before the match at the FMF Gymnasium while interacting with high profile guest speakers. They will be escorted next door to their reserved Platinum seating at the ANZ Stadium prior to kick-off. On fulltime, they will return to a fully catered post-match function to meet some of the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua players and coaches.
