Back-to-back Super Rugby Women’s champions, Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua women’s team are hunting a historic three-peat in 2024 – under new coach and former Fiji captain Mosese Rauluni.
The side will be going up against the Reds this weekend, and the Queensland side will be out for revenge after falling just short in last year’s Final.
“It’s been a short pre-season but we’ve managed to get them together really well. The unity in the team is really good. We’re looking forward to the grand finale replay against Queensland Reds,” Fijian Drua Women’s head coach, Mosese Rauluni said.
Rauluni is familiar with the Queensland Reds, as he was the side’s Assistant Coach for the 2023 Super W season.
“It’s different apart from a few long-term players that have been there in the Reds team. New coaching staff, new ways of playing. They are a solid team and we need to stick to our game plan,” Rauluni adds.
