The Fiji Airways International Mini 7’s Tournament round two saw our Fijiana 7s team improve in their performance.
Fiji beat New Zealand 33-12 but went down to France 21-24 while Australia Green beat USA 17-5.
Meanwhile this tournament has seen young Fijiana debutants make a name for themselves.
The tournament is taking place at Churchill Park in Lautoka, with the exciting addition of two teams, the USA and Australia’s main team, joining the competition.
The tournament is open to the public, with free entry, and encourages families to come out and support the Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s team while witnessing the skills of world-class women’s 7s players from New Zealand, Australia, and France on home turf.
