Discipline at the breakdown and improving their execution around the ruck will be key focus areas for the Vodafone Fijiana ahead of their second Test against the Springbok Women in Lautoka.

Captain Kolora Lomani says the side has identified areas that need improvement following the opening Test and will be working to tighten their discipline and accuracy before the return clash.

“I think it’s just our discipline around the ruck area and obviously our coalition.”

Lomani adds that while preparations have been positive, the team expected a physical contest from the South Africans and knows it will need an improved performance to level the series.

“I guess we kind of pulled back from what we prepped for the week. South Africa did give us a good game and we did expect a coalition during the first 20 minutes of the game. But now we just got to go back and re-watch our clips and do better leading into next week.”
