The Fiji Water Flying Fijians have a made a jump in the latest World Rugby Rankings released today.
It’s a good sign that the Flying Fijians are moving in the right direction under head coach Simon Raiwalui.
The Flying Fijians are now ranked 9th in the world rugby rankings, moving one place up from 10th.
Flying Fijians remained unbeaten in the PNC this season as they eye another win against France this weekend.
Wales have dropped below Fiji in the World Rugby rankings for the first time since 2007.
The teams have traded positions in the rankings with the Flying Fijians the higher-ranked of the two teams for the first time in more than 15 years in ninth place and Wales in 10th.
It adds further spice to an already tasty-looking Pool C at Rugby World Cup 2023 as four of the teams – Australia, Fiji, Wales and Georgia – are next to each other in the rankings in positions eight to 11.
