Another enthralling round of Rugby World Cup fixtures is ‘done and dusted’, and there are changes again – in the global rankings.
The Flying Fijians remain in eighth place, in the latest world rugby rankings.
But the Wallabies have dropped to a record low in the rankings, slipping from ninth to 10th position.
At the top of the standings – South Africa’s defeat to Ireland means they have fallen below France into third place, while Ireland have stretched their lead, at the top of the pile.
After beating Samoa, Argentina have climbed above the fallen Wallabies and moved into ninth place, while Italy are at 11th place.
Japan now occupies the 13th spot, replacing Wales’ Pool C rivals Georgia, who have slipped to 14th.
