In Fiji:
55 families from the settlement of Kilikali in Suva are today beneficiaries of the DFAT funded Atoll Food Futures program of Live and Learn Fiji in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Health.
The program hopes to improve nutritious food production using various methods with emphasis on local knowledge, concentrating on climate smart agricultural solutions to food security.
The Australian High Commission First Secretary Susannah Hodson during the handing over of food cubes said it is a privilege to be able to support communities who do not have access to fertile land have improved self-sufficiency in food through this program and
also income generation for some.
