Suspended Fiji Corrections Service Commissioner Francis Kean has resigned.
The Chair of the Constitutional Offices Commission (‘Commission’) has confirmed that the Commission received a notice of resignation from Francis Kean as the Commissioner of the Fiji Corrections Service.
Kean is currently serving his contractual notice period.
The members of the Commission will be invited to provide their consideration on the resignation.
Pursuant to section 138(3) of the Constitution, following the concurrence of the majority of the members, the Chair will advise the President regarding the resignation of Kean as the Commissioner of the Fiji Corrections Service.
