Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry has left Fiji with a full heart and a glowing tribute, describing her family holiday at Kokomo Private Island as “one for the ages” and saying the country is home to “the happiest people on Earth.”

In a heartfelt social media post shared after her departure, Berry thanked the staff of the luxury island resort for their extraordinary hospitality, kindness and care throughout her family’s stay.

“It’s a wrap!” she wrote, reflecting on what she called a magical vacation filled with joy, love and unforgettable memories.

Berry singled out a staff member named Ima, praising the personal care shown to her family.

She said Ima helped her son become dive certified, looked after her daughter through sea sickness, encouraged a family member to leap into a waterfall, cared for Berry’s broken toe, and even helped the family catch fish.

“We will miss you most of all,” she wrote.

“The sweet island songs you all sang and delicious cuisine paired with the biggest smiles I’ve ever seen made the night truly magical,” she said.

Berry ended her tribute with a message that has resonated with many Fijians and tourism supporters.

“It’s true, Fiji does have the happiest people on Earth. We can’t wait to return to paradise!”

The actress also celebrated her 60th birthday in Fiji.
